Christmas jumpers are a bit like marmite; you either love them or hate them. I personally love a good festive knit! There’s something endearing about a cosy jumper with a Christmas character slabbed right bang in the middle. If you love them like I do, or just need one for Christmas Jumper Day (Friday 15th December) and are on the hunt for a new sweater then I have found some of the best that you can buy in stores and online currently.
Christmas calories don’t count, a saying I can get on board with! This jumper is ideal if you don’t want to justify to your family and friends why you’re stuffing your face with eight mince pies. Check out this grey reindeer jumper from Primark if you want to look cute and Christmas chic.
Fair Isle is always big at Christmas time. It’s a classic pattern that never goes out of style. This red reindeer snowflake jumper is great if you’re looking for a more traditional design.
What’s Christmas without some gingerbread? Gingerbread house, gingerbread latte and now your very own gingerbread jumper. It’s definitely an ‘out-there’ kinda jumper but it’s silly and fun.
If you’re looking for something a bit more subtle then this grey snowflake embellished jumper from Dorothy Perkins is perfect. Sparkly enough for the festive season but without the garish-ness of a typical Christmas jumper. Or why not opt for this novelty number from Matalan to add a little Christmas cheer to your wardrobe?
If you want a casual but fun top this Christmas then you need to p-p-pick up this penguin jumper from Primark. It’s cute and penguins are cool.
Buddy the elf once said ‘the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear‘ but I honestly think you could spread it with this Christmas tree jumper. It is definitely loud.
Add some cool-ness to your Christmas collection with this navy polar bear knit from Next. Or if you’re looking for a silly slogan top then check out this sloth jumper from New Look.
Are you a fan of the Christmas jumper trend? If you have a festive favourite from the ones I picked please let me know.
