August Through My iPhone

Banksy Street Art Liverpool

August has been a bit of a sluggish month for me. I always find myself wishing August away because Autumn is just around the corner and summer is coming to an end (I’m not a fan of the hot weather.) I’ve been trying to snap more photos lately so I thought I would share a few from what I’ve been up to this month!

We went to Bill’s Restaurant for breakfast. I usually go for a bacon, eggs & pancakes situation but I’ve been trying to cut out the meat a little lately. This just happened to be a meat free week and boy did I regret that decision. The buttermilk pancakes with banana, strawberries and blueberries were tasty though. We also went to Brass Monkey in Liverpool. I love it there. The interior is just perfect and they have swings as seats! Not checked them out yet but I’ll definitely go again and report back. I must say, I’ve had food from here previously and it wasn’t great but if you’re just looking for somewhere to go for a cocktail or stein, then you may want to check it out.

I went to Prezzo for the first time in New Brighton and the food was delicious. I had the Salmon Penne and there was enough to feed a small army! Although I did find New Brighton itself slightly boring, it was nostalgic as I would go there when I was little and go on the fairground rides and play on the arcades. There were quite a number of dogs around New Brighton enjoying the sunshine though. Yes, I am one of those people who will get overly excited at the sight of a pooch… We visited Chester over the bank holiday weekend for a spot of shopping and a bite to eat. Chester is quaint, little city with so much to do and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has never been.

So that’s my August. What did you get up to this month?
